There's no one home and I've been waiting for your call Just so you know it wouldn't bother me at all No one who loves you ever thought it was your fault and I still care 4 U a lot There's something I should share I haven't said before and since we're losing touch I mean it even more There's no one I felt I'd sooner go to war for you and all the things you are Now it doesn't take a lifetime to realize that you want to do better You learn to stand up by yourself step back and take another good look at what you're doing (There's no one who loves you) What are you doing here Look at what you're doing (There's no one who loves you) What are you doing here No one who loves you thought it was your fault and I still care 4 U a lot

You’re in front of the fire dreaming of everything you want to be Your heart’s out of control knowing that you won’t believe what you see These are the darkest of days It changes you under your skin You see the err in your ways It’s only a moment of fear The moment is gone You’re still here The old path it is worn ridden by thousands of unequal men The attacks and the scorn lead them to die in the field without kin These are the darkest of days It changes you under your feet You see the err in your ways It’s only a moment of fear The moment is gone You’re still here When you live on your own do as you wish to be done unto you We’re all skin and we’re bones waiting to cycle back into the ooze These are the darkest of days It changes from hour to hour I see the heart in your gaze It’s only a moment of fear The moment is gone You’re still here

about

Fred Mascherino and Jason Daniello met in 1997 while Fred's band at the time, Brody, played a show with Jason's band at the Dingo Bar in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They became fast friends and have kept in touch over the 20+ years. One day, Fred heard a Ukulele piece that Jason had in his head forever. He asked for a recording of it because he had an idea for it. Sent it back to Jason with vocals to produce it with Moog bass, Mellotron, and a harmony vocal, and viola, a song is born!
